Breaking | Rossi Eames named first team Head Coach

Barnet Football Club is delighted to announce Rossi Eames as the new first team Head Coach. Rossi has been with the Club for 7 years having worked his way up through the Academy, Youth Teams, Development Squad and more recently having had 2 separate stints as Interim Head Coach of the first team.

Rossi has a proven track record in coaching and getting the best out his players and teams. Rossi clearly identifies with the Club and its philosophy and continues to be a key member of the coaching and management staff that has helped to establish a way of working and style of play that the Club will continue to build on for the future.

Barnet FC Chairman, Tony Kleanthous added: "We have thoroughly searched through all the available choices and both James and I concluded that the best candidate was the one on our doorstep. We support his playing style and our team responds positively to his philosophy. We want to build on the foundations we have created and think we can provide Rossi with the support he needs to strengthen his management credentials. For us this was the bold choice and the right time to finally allow Rossi to take sole control of our football destiny."

The Club would like to thank the fans for their patience throughout this process and all of the candidates that took the time speak to the Club about what is clearly an exciting opportunity and time in the Clubs history.

The Club has been through an exhaustive search and considered a variety of factors and the profile of the role, which resulted in Rossi presenting himself as the clear choice to lead the team.

The Club has also begun the process of headhunting and experienced assistant to work alongside Rossi, the team and the Academy staff.
