Taiwo Atieno has left the club by mutual consent

Taiwo Atieno has left Barnet Football Club by mutual consent after his deal with the club expired.

Atieno started his career with Wallsall progressing through the youth system before breaking into the first-team in 2006.

He has also had a spell in the USA with Puerto Rico Islanders and Rochester Rhinos followed by a return to England with Luton Town, Stevenage and Torquay United.

He made his debut as a 90th minute substitute in a 2-2 draw with Exeter City and scored his first and only goal in a 2-0 win over Bradford City.

Everyone at Barnet Football Club would like to thank Taiwo for his contribution and we wish him the best of luck in the future.
