Barnet Football In the Community and Fairway Early Years Centre have been running a football, fun and learning session called Positive Men F.C. (Family connections).

The sessions have been designed to encourage positive interactive play between Dad's, Uncle's and their children between the ages of three to five years. The course includes positive play, warm ups and football related games to highlight the importance of using play as a bonding experience between adult and child.

The group was invited to Underhill to watch the Hartlepool United game earlier this season as part of our community initiative, a game they enjoyed immensely especially as the result was in our favour - 2-1 to the Bees.

Andy Whiting of the Fairway Early Years Centre has written to Janet Matthewson, the Barnet FC's Football in the Community Officer to thank her and her team for such a positive experience.
