Kieron St Aimie, Elliott Charles, Danny Hart, Ran Kadoch and Joe Tabiri kicked off Halloween by attending the Football in Community Funweek Halloween Party.
The Players were somewhat surprised by the decorations in the Pavilion, complaining that it was not fair because they didn't have anything like it when they were kids, but they soon got into the spirit of the occasion, even before the kids arrived by playing around with the props!
The players and children were split into teams to play party games, Giuliano Grazioli, who assisted on the Fun week, much to the delight to the children, was on hand to act as adjudicator!The highlight for the children was the Mummy Competition - where each team race to mummify their player and the unanimous winner was Danny Hart's team.
Janet Matthewson praised the players attitudes, "they were great", she said, "they got completely involved ensuring that all the kids had a great time, but so it seems did they!".
When the children went home is was all hands on deck to prepare for the evenings events as another Halloween Party was planned, this time for everyone.
Unfortunately for the fans, the players had departed, but a good time was had by all!
Jemma and Aaron from the Pavilion said "it is nice to see people coming together to have fun on non football days - we intend to do a lot more in the Pavilion and get more people to use it because it all goes to supporting the club and that can only be a good thing, can't it?
