Adam Birchall and Max Porter accompanied Giuliano Grazioli to Barnet's Achievement Day 2008 organised by Barnardo's and London Borough of Barnet.
The day is all about recognising the achievements of children in care across the Borough. During the afternoon Graz and the players mingled with the staff and children. Barnardo's state, "We believe in the potential in every child and young person, no matter who they are, what they have done or what they have been through.
"We will support them, stand up for them and bring out the best in each and every child." Janet Matthewson, community manager at Barnet FC, says, "One of the great parts of this job is to be able to support events such as the Achievement Day. Life can be difficult for our young people and for them to know that there are people who recognise and support their achievements.
By working with partners across the Borough we aim to continue to make a positive contribution to as many young people as we can. Barnet's community scheme, despite being self funded, is going from strength to strength and the more we grow the more worthwhile projects we can support. Our aim is to help, even in a small way, where ever and when ever we can."
