Ian Hendon led his squad cricketers-for-the-day to an exhilirating five wickets victory against Barnet B's CC in the annual Twenty/20 game at the Community Fun Day.

The sun shone and Hendon, backed by some fine hitting by Joe Devera and kit man Rob Whipple, led his side to the 145 runs target needed for victory.

A good turn out enjoyed a family fun afternoon, with the new Barnet FC strip getting its first airing and behind-the-scenes stadium tours conducted by David Bloomfield, John ("Village") Adkins and Rob Whipple proving a very popular item.

All of the proceeds of the day will be shared equally between Barnet Sports Development and Barnet FC Football in the Community.
