BFC SUPPORTING "HELP FOR HEROES"
Barnet FC will be supporting The Football League's official 2009-10 charity 'Help for Heroes' at the game verses Crewe Alexandra on December 12.
Following a vote on the official Football League website, Help the Heroes was chosen from five shortlisted candidates, to be supported by the league and its 72 clubs. Barnet FC are in full support of the campaign to raise funds for this worthy cause, and will be undertaking a number of fundraising initiatives on the run up to and on the day of the home game verses Crewe.
Plans are underway for a host of activities as well as providing a number of free tickets for Service men and women. The club will be working with the Barnet Times series and other local partners to ensure that Barnet FC and its fans can be a main supporter of this very worthwhile cause.
More details of a fundraising ticket initiative and other activities, including a football tournament, will be released in the upcoming weeks.
