As announced earlier this week, Barnet FC is supporting the Football League's chosen charity named Help for the Heroes at the League 2 game verses Crewe Alexandra on December 12.

The first event of the day is an adult 8-a-side tournament to be held on the outfield of Barnet CC Cricket Pitch to the rear of Underhill Stadium.

Squads of 12 will be permitted. Team entrance will be £60 (£5 per person), with all money going to the cause. (Please make cheques payable to BFCCT.)

The exact format is to be confirmed depending on number of teams entering. So far we have had interest from Territorial Army, HMS Illustrious, Barnet Community Trust coaches, Barnet Police, Barnet Times, FCBFCSA and Brookmans Park FC. Start time will be 10am or 10:30am, with a completion time of 1:30pm. Changing rooms and shower facilities will be available.
