Last week first-team coach
Lee Harrison and top goalscorer
John O'Flynn made visits to the Community Academy coaching sessions.
Lee Harrison went to London Maccabi watching the U12s, U14s and U16s in action during a high tempo training session. Lee commented: "It makes me feel proud seeing dedicated coaches providing young children with structured training sessions, giving them the opportunity to learn and be creative."
John O'Flynn visited Ravenscroft High School viewing the U8s and U10s as they trained. John said: "This is just the kind of support young kids need if they want to make it as a professional footballer and that it was great to see all the children interact and enjoy the sessions put on by former Barnet legend Giuliano Grazioli."
The aim of the Community Academy is to provide a key stepping stone for the young players of all abilities to potentially move onwards to the Centre of Excellence. The Community Academy recognises the importance of developing and nurturing young players' technical ability and tactical understanding of the game, therefore coaching sessions are carefully designed and delivered to ensure developmental outcomes are continuously met.
