Barnet ace boxer Darren Barker, who became the European middleweight champion at Alexandra Palace last month to add to his English and Commonwealth titles, will be at Underhill on Saturday for the Rotherham United game with his winners' belts.
The 28-year-old, who will be accompanied by his father, Terry, mother, Jackie, and girl friend Gemma, will be a guest of Barnet FC to mark his latest achievement. He attended Underhill as a boy cheering on his local team.
Darren, who won a Commonwealth gold medal in 2002, has a professional record of 22 wins in 22 fights, 14 of them by knock-outs. Barnet FC salutes a sporting winner.
Bees' legend Guiliano Grazioli, twice Player of the Year and the scorer of 61 goals in 131 appearances for the club, will also be on parade on Saturday.
The 35-year-old Graz, one of Underhill's favourite sons, recently returned to the club as full time development officer with Barnet Community Trust.
He will receive a cheque for £1,000 on behalf of the Trust from The FA Community Shield Fund. Barnet FCs other nominated charity, the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital, will also receive £1,000. The Barnet players visit the hospice for the annual Christmas party each year.
