The talented local Kickz player has been referred to the Barnet Centre of Excellence development centre -- one step below the Centre of Excellence -- by development officer Giuliano Grazioli. Ricardo follows Mauro as the second referral from Kickz in two years. Ricardo was recently the VIP player at a Nike tournament in Manchester.
Vilhete, plus Danny Hart and a handful of Boreham Wood players, was involved in Barnet FC Community Trust organised football related training sessions organised by Giuliano Grazioli and Stephen Bull from mid-June to mid-July.
Primary schools from all over the borough of Harrow attended a World Cup tournament at The Hive organised by the Metropolitan Police to help the children understand the pressures that arise in moving from primary to secondary schools.
Barnet FC Community Manager Janet Matthewson, Kate Holmes and Stephen Bull were invited to help and Janet delivered a presentation about the pressures for youngsters moving up to secondary schools.
At the end of the tournament a Question and Answer session involving the Barnet squad was held.
The police provided each team with a coloured top with a World Cup name on the front. Police riots horses and dogs were on show.... not to mention The FA Cup, suitably guarded by two minders.
A Barnet Community Trust team of Janet Matthewson, Grazioli, Hayley James and Kate Holmes also organised a football tournament for children from many schools at the East Barnet Festival.
