History was made at Underhill on Saturday with the first ever wedding ceremony conducted at the ground.

Barnet FC is a now licensed to conduct weddings and civil partnerships in The Durham Suite.

The first couple to take advantage were Darren Robinson and Clare Burgess, pictured here, who became man and wife in a ceremony conducted by a representative of Barnet Register Office.

The happy couple enjoyed a wedding breakfast in The Directors Lounge and later an evening party in The Durham Suite.

Darren is an Arsenal fan; Clare is a Barnet girl. They now live in Chingford.
