Barnet FC Ladies have collected another accolade. They won the FA best programme award at the FA Women's football awards annual lunch at the Vinoplis function suite at London Bridge on Friday.

The award came out of the blue and John Taylor, who prepares the programme with the assistance of Gill Jones, collected it in front of FA dignitaries Lord Triesman and Sir Trevor Brooking and Minister of Sport Gerry Sutcliffe.

Barnet pipped Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest, both better resourced clubs, for the accolade.

Barnet FC was represented at the lunch by associate director Graham Slyper, who liaises with the ladies.
