A full coachload of 50-plus Barnet supporters travel to Southport FC tomorrow to back the Barnet Ladies team in their effort to reach the FA Women's Cup final for the first time.
"Apart from the coach, many others are making their own way to Southport and we'll have a Barnet end cheering us on", the Ladies manager Tracy Kevins told
www.barnetfc.com today. "It's a fantastic piece of history for the club and I am ever so proud to be in charge".
The Ladies, who have only lost one game this season, face powerful opposition in Everton in their first-ever appearance at the semi-final stage, but Tracy insisted: "We have no injuries and will be at full strength ... it's a great opportunity for us to make a bit of history for the club.
"I can assure everyone at Barnet FC that the attitude of the team is that they are not content with just being in the last four".
Claire Thomas, who scored the winning goal in last week's 3-2 quarter final win against Nottingham Forest, has the backing of the pupils at St Mary's Church of England High School in Hendon where she is a PE teacher.
As the Bees kick off their League 2 game against Accrington Stanley today, Tracy and the Ladies team head North from The Hive hoping to make a bit of history.
Ian Hendon and
Lee Harrison, who have turned up to back the Ladies in previous rounds, have sent messages of support.
