The triumphant Barnet FC Ladies team will turn out for an encore at the end of their season when they play an invitation match at the Walkers Stadium, home of Leicester City, on Friday, May 28.
The Bees have been invited to play Leicester City Ladies in recognition of their outstanding season of winning the FA Tesco's Women's Premier League South and reaching the last four of the FA Women's Cup before losing to eventual winners Everton.
Leicester Ladies narrowly missed joining the Bees next season in the FA Women's National League after finishing third in the Northern Premier.
Many supporters from Underhill travelled North to cheer on the Ladies in their Cup semi-final against Everton. Next week's game will ko at 7.45pm, with a £3 entry fee at the Filbert Way stadium, and manager Tracey Kevins says the team would welcome more enthusiastic backing as they wind down a brilliant campaign before joining the elite of the National League.
It's a long time to the next game, folks!
