Paul Fairclough and his players are backing Barnet Ladies as they prepare for a last 16 tie in the FA Women's Cup against Premier League North leaders Liverpool at the Hanwell Town ground on Sunday, January 29 at 1 p.m.

Sponsors Nationwide have organised the Cup being available to Barnet Ladies next Monday and Fairclough has arranged for a party of the girls to join his League 2 players at training for a photo opportunity. The manager will also provide words of encouragement to the ladies before their next giant-killing attempt - they have already beaten West Ham United and Manchester City en route to round five.

Although the ladies are the "severe underdogs" of the last 16, they top the South East Combination League with 10 wins and a draw in 12 games and are hoping to regain Premier League status. This is their best Cup run since the 2000-2001 season.

With Barnet having a free weekend because of Leyton Orient's participation in the FA Cup on January 28, the club is hoping that many supporters will make the trip to Hanwell the next day to cheer on the lady Bees.
