Stacey Sowden: seventh hat-trick
Stacey Sowden struck her seventh hat-trick of the season as Barnet FC Ladies, the current holders of the Middlesex Senior Cup, beat Hendon 4-0 at Hanwell Town to book a place in this year's final on April 23 against local rivals Enfield Town. Jade Strzelecki marked her first team debut for the Bees with a stunning goal.
Meanwhile, Barnet Ladies reserves also booked a Cup Final date for April 23 by producing an excellent second half display to defeat Hampton and Richmond 6-1.
Trailing by a goal at the interval, the Bees overpowered their hosts thanks to four goals from Madeleine Hills and strikes from Danielle Richards and Jade Kite. Their opponents in the Women's Junior Cup Final will be Staines Town.
Both County Cup Finals will be played at Uxbridge FC on April 23. The seniors' final will be at 12 noon; the junior final will be at 4 p.m.
NOTE: The Bees have a chance to progress to another final when they take on Enfield Town in the semi-final of the South East Combination League Cup on Tuesday, March 21, at Cheshunt FC with a 7.45 p.m. kick off.
