Barnet FC Ladies have completed the transfer of prolific striker Stacey Sowden from their Arsenal counterpart.

Stacey scored 48 goals for Barnet Ladies last season as they won promotion to the FA Women's Premier League Southern Division by winning the South East Combination championship. She had formed a prolific partnership with Beth Curtis, since first signing for Barnet in October 2004, before opting to join the Gunners in the Summer. She was called into the England Under-21 squad at the end of the last season.

Stacey has been included in the Barnet squad for Wednesday evening's FA Women's Premier League Southern Division fixture versus Crystal Palace at Whyteleafe FC (kick off 7.45 p.m.).
