Painting The Town Amber
Barnet supporters travelling to the south coast for Tuesday evening's Johnstone's Paint Trophy second round tie against League 1 side Brighton and Hove Albion are being invited to show their true colours.
Leading paint manufacturers Johnstone's are asking fans from the 48 clubs from Leagues 1 and 2 to take part in a competition by painting their faces in their team colours.
The five most original designs in 'Show your true colours' will win a £100 voucher to spend at their local Johnstone's Leyland Decorating Centre. For a chance to win a voucher send a photo to Johnstone's Press Office, The Chubb Buildings. Fryer Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1HT ... or e-mail sarah@connect@proup.com.
Closing date for entries is October 26 and the five winning photos will be chosen by judges on November 2.
Johnstone's have also unveiled a new JPT colour card - Team Colours - with paints in the exact home kit team colours that will enable fans "to decorate their homes with team pride".
For more information about the colour card visit johnstonestrade.com. The sponsors' express aim, they say, is "bringing colour to the beautiful game".
It's a long time since former manager Barry Fry named a daughter Amber.
