O'CEARUILL AND CAREW TO START

Posted on: Wed 19 Dec 2007

Republic of Ireland central defender Joe O'Cearuill, who misses Saturday's match at Rochdale after being sent off in the away game against Lincoln City for denying a goalscoring opportunity, is in the side to meet Stevenage Borough this evening in the first round of the Herts Senior Cup. Kick-off is at 7.00pm.

Ashley Carew and O'Cearuill are the only players who started at Lincoln, but substitutes Anthony Thomas, Nicky Nicolau, Max Porter and goalkeeper Rob Beckwith are also named by Paul Fairclough for Broadhall Way. The Bees will not now use trialists as they begin their defence of the trophy.
