GOLDEN GOALS 2007

Posted on: Sat 12 Jan 2008

Former England manager Sir Bobby Robson gave world-class approval to Liam Hatch's cracking goal against Accrington Stanley in October to win him an award.... do YOU think that it was Barnet's best of 2007?

The Mitre Goal of the Year is again being chosen at the 2008 Football League awards in March. Here are five nominations of Golden Goals scored by Bees players last year: -

JASON PUNCHEON    v Colchester United (06.01.07)
                                         v Bradford City (01.09.07)
                                         v Hartlepool (07.04.07)

NEAL BISHOP               v Macclesfield Town (08.12.07)

LIAM HATCH                  v Accrington Stanley (27.10.07)

Barnet FC need to nominate one of these goals by next Wednesday (January 16) so please send your vote to escott@barnetfc.com before then.

Entries from around the country will then be shortlisted to five and the winning goal eventually decided by attendees' text voting at the awards evening on March 2.

Get voting.

PS My favourite Puncheon goal of the year isn't listed - the man specialises in spectacular goals.
