BEST BEES GOAL OF 2007 IS.................

Posted on: Wed 16 Jan 2008

Liam Hatch's spectacular goal against Accrington Stanley at Underhill in October has been voted as Barnet FC's Goal of 2007 by supporters who posted their preference via barnetfc.com.

Jason Puncheon who had four of the six nominations to his credit can feel a little unlucky that he has not claimed the accolade since he scored numerous memorable goals last year.

However the touch, technique and power that Liam Hatch showed in scoring Barnet's first goal in the 2-2 draw just gives his strike the edge.

Liam's goal will now be submitted as a contender for the Mitre Goal of the Year. The winner will be announced at the 2008 Football League awards in March.
