Unfortunately points were not at stake, it wasn't in The FA Cup, but it was a result that knocked the Gunners out of the London Challenge Cup in 1968; largely courtesy of a Billy Meadows hat-trick. Make no mistake this was a shock result and the newspapers of the day reported it as such.
The mental scars inflicted by the Bees that day were not to be too long lasting as the Arsenal team contained no less than five players who would go on to make significant contributions to the Double winning side of only a few years later.
Pat Rice, now Arsenal's Assistant manager, was in the Gunners line up, alongside Sammy Nelson, George Graham, Eddie Kelly and Geordie Armstrong.
In Saturday's Match Programme this match is re visited and the programme from this memorable encounter has been reproduced in all its 8 page glory, it was priced 6d and makes for a fascinating read. A good condition original is valued at £15.
Saturday's programme also features exclusive news, views and observations from Paul Fairclough, Lee Harrison and Dennis Signy alongside articles and features that are exclusive to the match programme. With possibly up to forty players playing a part at Underhill the best place to keep check on the names and numbers of those on the pitch is to have a programme to hand.
Now wasn't the reason programmes were invented in the first place?
