GRIM NEWS ON INJURY FRONT

Posted on: Mon 01 Sep 2008
Grim news for Barnet ahead of the London Derby Johnstone's Paint Trophy first round tie against League 2 leaders Dagenham & Redbridge.... new central defender Jeremy de Magalhaes has been ruled out for three to six weeks.

The 6ft-tall Frenchman, one of the few successes in his Barnet debut in the 5-1 League 2 reverse at Chester City, pulled a groin muscle in training at Underhill today.

Added to that came the news that skipper Ismail Yakubu, who missed the game at Chester, has been ruled out for two to three weeks with a recurrence of his groin problem.

Joe Devera, who pulled out of training with a muscle problem, saw a doctor this afternoon and, hopefully, will pass a late test.

Kenny Gillet returns for the game following his three-match suspension after being sent off against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carling Cup and Israeli goalkeeper Ran Kadoch could make his debut.
