The Barnet U-18s observed a minute's silence before their Southern Counties SE League game at Welwyn Garden City last night in memory of their former skipper Oliver Kingonzila.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who has trained with the Barnet first team squad and played for the seniors in a third round Herts Senior Cup victory against Hertford when the club won the trophy in 2006-07, was stabbed to death at the weekend.

The young Bees maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 0-0 draw against Dunstable Town.
