O'FLYNN HAS HIS BACKERS

Paul Fairclough is backing his judgement on recent signing John O'Flynn being a latter day Giuliano Grazioli.
"There is no doubt he will score goals", he said of the 26-year-old former Republic of Ireland U-21 striker who joined the Bees on transfer window deadline day from Cork City. "He has a striker's instinct ... he's a one in two man".
The manager first noted the potential of O'Flynn on a visit to Cork to watch his goalscoring partner Kevin Doyle, now with Reading.
Grazioli, who scored 29 goals in the season when Barnet won the Nationwide Conference championship to regain their Football League status, was at Underhill last weekend to see O'Flynn score in the first half minute against Accrington Stanley.
The Irishman, who says that he has "unfinished business" in England after being rejected as a youngster by Peterborough United's former Barnet manager Barry Fry, has an impressive goalscoring record back home.
"All forwards want to get to 20 goals - and I'm no different", says O'Flynn.
It would have been 18 to go if Accrington goalkeeper Kenny Arthur had not saved O'Flynn's second half penalty.
Even so, if the Bees get another spot kick against Dagenham & Redbridge on Friday evening O'Flynn has staked his availability.
