TABIRI ON LEWES LOAN

Posted on: Sun 02 Nov 2008
Joe Tabiri, the 19-year-old midfielder who is on the fringe of the Barnet team in his first three months as a professional player, is joining Blue Square Premier side Lewes on loan for one month.

The former PROTEC youngster, who figured in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion, made his League debut at Rochdale and has since made three appearances as a substitute. He joins a Lewes side that suffered a shock defeat in the fourth qualiying round of the FA Cup this week, losing 3-1 at home to Leiston.

Tabiri is due to make his debut for Lewes at Wrexham tomorrow. A team-mate will be defender Aswad Thomas, who was on loan with the Bees earlier this season.
