Kenny Gillet, Barnet's 22-year-old left back and fans' favourite, is the Mortgage Express Player of the Month for October.

Gillet, who is attracting Championship interest, was chosen by the Times series of newspapers.

Sports Editor Paul Wreyford, who covers the Bees home and away, said: Kenny is one of the first names on the team sheet and that says much. He can never be faulted for commitment and all Barnet fans appreciate that fact".

John O'Flynn was named in the Football League Team of the Week, paired with Bradford City's Barry Conlon.
