Barnet chairman Tony Kleanthous turned down "a substantial offer" for winger Albert Adomah in the summer as manager Paul Fairclough said that he wanted to keep his team together.

"There aren't enough players like him", said Fairclough after Adomah had netted hios fourth goal of the season tlo earn the Bees a 3-3 draw at Bradford city

"Albert excites people when he gets the ball. He is the sort of player fans will pay to see".

While 20-year-old Adomah stayed, Jason Puncheon went to Plymouth Argyle for £250,000 - Less than Albert might have brought.
