THE TREATMENT ROOM

Posted on: Thu 20 Nov 2008
Physiotherapist Mark Stein gives an update today on Barnet injury casualties Joe Devera and Cliff Akurang.

He says: "Cliff should be resuming training on Monday after having an injection this week on a troublesome foot.

"Although two scans have shown no discernible signs of a problem, Cliff has complained about continuing pain and has missed the games at Rochdale and St Albans City after receiving the injection in a bid to eradicate the problem.

"The scan on Joe's left knee reveals no cartilage problem or need for surgery. The original diagnosis was of medial ligament damage ... but the time scale for recovery of a month to five weeks stays".
