O'FLYNN AT THE READY

Posted on: Wed 24 Dec 2008
John O'Flynn, eight goals in 15 starts and two substitute appearances since signing from Cork City, has been ruled fit for the Boxing Day League 2 game against Aldershot Town.

Physiotherapist Mark Stein said that they had been taking precautionary measures with the Irishman because of a left hamstring problem but he trained successfully on Christmas Eve.

O'Flynn, who has been likened as a marksman to Giuliano Grazioli in his prime by Paul Fairclough and Ian Hendon, has been one of the successes of the Bees season so far.

Unfortunately, Joe Devera's hoped for comeback after missing seven games with a medial ligament injury has been delayed. Devera will see the doctor on Friday. "Joe's not happy with it", said Stein.

Neal Bishop is to see a consultant about the hairline fracture of the jaw he suffered at Darlington and goalkeeper Lee Harrison is still sidelined weith an ankle injury.
