FOUR MATCH BAN FOR KENNY
Posted on: Wed 28 Jan 2009
Kenny Gillet has been banned for four matches by The Football Association after being sent off at Accrington Stanley for "serious foul play".
The extra game is because Gillet, appointed captain by Ian Hendon the previous week and counselled about making over-enthusiastic tackles before the Accrington game, was sent off in the Carling Cup first round tie away to Brighton & Hove Albion last August and served a three match ban then for "violent conduct".
Nicky Nicolau was the replacement left back as 10-man Barnet held out for 80 minutes for a 1-1 draw.
Ian Hendon spoke to the players today concerning challenges that he finds reckless and unacceptable.
