PITCH PASSES INSPECTION

Posted on: Wed 11 Feb 2009

The Underhill pitch was given the go-ahead for tonight's League 2 game against Grimsby Town after a lengthy inspection by a local referee at 11.00am today.

Groundsman Barry Moggridge was given three areas of concern in the corners to work on- and the match referee was contacted and advised of the position. He will get to Barnet early as a precaution although the weather forecast is good.

The incessant rain stopped just before the inspection and the sun came out to aid the drying process.

Grimsby travelled South for the game after hearing the result of the inspection.
