BEES DRAW WITH NORWICH

Posted on: Fri 20 Feb 2009
Defender Ismail Yakubu, substituted at half time against Notts County on Saturday, gave Ian Hendon a goalscoring reminder of his worth at Carrow Road this evening when he gave the Bees a 1-0 half time lead against Norwich City in front of a crowd of 1,128.
Yakubu, who had a good game, scored with a header following a corner after 16 minutes ... his second goal of the season.
But the Bees' "reserves", plus two trialists, one of them Spanish, were pegged back by a Jamie Cureton equaliser.
When one of the trialists was injured Phil Carpenter went in goal - and Ran Kadoch played up front.
