"It was a fantastic win on Tuesday, the game against teams like Rochdale, they're at the top for a reason and the result and the way we did gets everybody going and ready for the next game.

"The depth in their squad is there to be seen, he [Keith Hill] made his third sub and I said the only thing he had left to throw at us was the kitchen sink! Thorpe, Dagnall and Buckley all came on and I think we've got a good squad too with the names we've got on the bench.

"Barry's doing a fantastic job with the pitch. The Rochdale people complimented the pitch after the game, saying it was probably the best they've played on this season. The pitch helps the way we want to play football.

"Chester is the biggest game of the season so far for me. It's not make or break time yet, there's a lot of games to go before the end of the season and I'm taking every game at a time. It's the next game and I'm looking for three points.

"We try not to look back, we look forward but I remember the game up there vividly. I came in afterwards and hit the roof. No-one likes getting beaten but the manner in which we lost up there was unacceptable and I hope I never get a repeat performance while I'm at this football club. That sort of performance won't be tolerated by me.

"Lee's been a calming influence in goal and he's done a great job but now he's injured and it causes a problem. Ran came on on Tuesday and did ever so well but there's no doubt I need another goalkeeper, I can't go for six weeks with just the one.

"I'm not interested in the away trips coming up. I'll worry about those after the final whistle on Saturday. Chester is the next game and that's the one I'm focused on."
