JOE NO GO FOR GRIFFIN PARK

Posted on: Thu 12 Mar 2009

Joe Devera is still having after effects from the bruised kidney injury that ruled him out of last week's home games against Rochdale and Chester City.

He missed the game at Griffin Park last season as he was serving a one-match suspension following his sending off for a "professional foul" in the 2-1 home defeat against Hereford United two weeks prior.

Devera did not train today, as planned, but Ian Hendon said that he was hopeful that the defender would be available for the weekend visit to Morecambe.

Although Max Porter is fit again after an ankle injury, Hendon is likely to stick with a no-change starting XI - leaving midfielder Mark Hughes as stand-in for Devera as the team seeks a five successive game without defeat.
