OGOGO BACK IN THE FRAME
Posted on: Thu 30 Apr 2009
Abu Ogogo, the 19-year-old Arsenal reserve right back who has not played for Barnet since the Gunners extended his loan period at Underhill until the end of the season in January because of a stomach injury, is in contention for a place against Port Vale on Saturday.
Ogogo, a midfielder who converted to full back, played six games on loan for the Bees over two months from November 13, but had to return to Arsenal for treatment in the final week. His extended loan period ends this weekend.
Also back with Barnet after loans and available for selection are Cliff Akurang, who scored twice for Weymouth, Danny Hart, who has been with Thurrock and Luke Medley, with Havant & Waterlooville.
Ian Hendon, who has Paul Furlong available after injury for the last game of his loan from Southend United will be without the injured Gary Breen, Ismail Yakubu and Lee Harrison. He will not decide his line-up until after Friday's training session. Top scorer John O'Flynn is rated doubtful.
Ever-present Albert Adomah, who has been nursing an ankle injury, is fit.
