Northern Ireland international Mark Hughes, who played nine games and made one appearance as a substitute after joining Barnet from Chester City in February, has signed a new one year contact.

The strong tackling 25-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur youth and reserve midfielder is Ian Hendon's first signing of the close season. Hughes has made two appearances for Northern Ireland and 12 for his country's U21 side.
