Bees fans will be braced for plenty of time on the road in the 2009/2010 season as the total two way mileage tops 7,000 for the first time since our Football League return.

With the loss of Brentford, Wycombe, Luton and Gillingham, many local trips have fallen by the wayside, and our only game within 50 miles will be against Dagenham & Redbridge. With the league again having a distinctly northern feel, the average one way trip will be 154 miles.

Compare that to the likes of Chesterfield, Macclesfield and League 2 new boys Burton Albion, each of whom have an average one way journey of under 100 miles.

Spare a thought though for fans of Torquay United, who will be on average travelling 239 miles to each game, one way.

The table below shows the one and two way distances to each of our games next season.
