Underhill will remain a viable home for Barnet FC for the next 10 years, says chairman Tony Kleanthous in part 2 of his Question and Answer session which is currently on the supporters' website.

His ambition? "I'd like to build a nice big home for Barnet FC in the London Borough of Barnet, and it should be at Copthall by the way", he tells BFCSA committee member Ben Kentish in a frank and revealing interview.

"That's what I'd like to do; whether I can or not I don't know".

Answering another question, Mr Kleanthous says:"If Tesco offered us the best money I would take it. If Tesco said to us tomorrow 'We'll take over Underhill and we'll give you a 10,000 capacity stadium at Copthall' I'd say 'Thank you very much' and I'd pull their arm off".

Note: Labour's John Prescott scuppered plans for a 10,000 seat stadium at Copthall years ago, mainly because of a lack of transport links.
