A Barnet XI comprising entirely of trialists recorded a 2-1 victory over a team from Grays Athletic that contained a couple of first teamers at Loughton this afternoon.

Ian Hendon commented: "Every trialist that we have been having at look at in training I have now seen in match action. I've been able to see what every player might have to offer, they have had an opportunity.

"If you could get a player or two each season from trials like this I'd be very happy. I saw one or two things that I liked today and now I have to do a little bit of thinking about what I've seen."
