Sierra Leone international left winger Albert Jarrett, who has played in the Premiership and the Championship, has signed for Barnet on a three months contract.
The 24-year-old winger, who played 16 games for Gillingham last season, has impressed in pre-season games for the Bees.
Ian Hendon said this afternoon: "Albert has been with us since Day One of training at the beginning of July and has impressed in the games against Dover Athletic, Arsenal, Cambridge United, Charlton Athletic and Southend United. He adds competition for places in the wide areas".
Jarrett, who can play on either wing or behind a front two pairing, said: "It has been hard, but good, training with the lads.
"We have been playing well with a squad that is a mixture of experienced players and younger ones like myself who are learning all the time and I would like to think that a play-off place is the minimum for the club this season ... I'm looking forward to being a part of an attacking set-up".
Two Hydes. Two Jakes. And now two Alberts as Hendon reaches the final stage of his squad rebuilding.
Jarrett's first club was Wimbledon and he has subsequently also played for Brighton & Hove Albion and Watford.
