ADOMAH WAITS FOR X-RAY

Posted on: Mon 14 Sep 2009

Albert Adomah may miss the home game against Bradford City with a broken nose ... the swelling was still so great on Monday that he was told he could not have it x-rayed for 10 days.

Albert went off after 34 minutes at Moss Rose after going up for an aerial challenge and being caught on the nose by an opponent's head. "An accident", said Albert.

He only missed one game all last season - on the final day against Port Vale at Underhill.

One bit of bright news for Ian Hendon at the start of the week - 23-year-old Daniel Leach, who has missed the last three games with tendonitis, should be fit to resume.

Sierra Leone international Albert Jarrett, who took over from Adomah on Saturday, has completed the paperwork of his new two year deal.
