Barnet skipper Micah Hyde believes that the team's recent "travel sickness" is just a slight blip in a season where Ian Hendon has set high standards.
With points in hand from earlier games, he insists, the overall situation is not one of doom and gloom. Commenting on three successive League 2 defeats away to Rotherham United, Rochdale and Burton Albion, the day before the home game with Darlington, the 34-year-old Hyde said "I know that the gaffer will be putting plans in place on the training ground to affect a cure.
"Unfortunately, there is no medicine or pills for this type of ailment, only good old fashioned hard work. That means applying oulves and going about our work from the first whistle to the last, which should be the least that people expected of us".
The Jamaican international midfielder said that the Bees controlled large parts of the matches against Rochdale and Burton --- "it is an understatement to say that I am personally disappointed that we didn't take something from either of them".
