Ian Hendon has called up two of the brightest prospects of Barnet's newly formed U-18 side for the League 2 game against Hereford United at Underhill this afternoon.

Mauro Vilhete, a 16-year-old that Aston Villa wanted to sign, plays on the right wing; outside left Charlie Morgan starred in the young Bees' FA Youth Cup defeat earlier this month.

Footnote: the youngest-ever Barnet League player was Kiernan Adams, who was 17 years 71 days when selected against Mansfield Town on December 31, 1994.
