TWO TEENAGERS GET CALL-UP PAPERS

Posted on: Fri 20 Nov 2009
The growing list of long term injuries at Barnet have led to manager Ian Hendon calling up two promising youth team members for the bench against Port Vale at Underhill.

Central defender Ryan Scott and striker Kofi Lockhart - Adams get a call-up as Hendon utilises all fit members of his squad.

Scott has played with the seniors in a practice match against Colchester United, at Harlow and in the Herts Senior Cup at Hemel Hempstead Town. Lockhart-Adams, who was considered for a place on the bench earlier this season, replaced John O'Flynn at half time in the Herts Senior Cup game.

The Barnet players will wear white ribbons against Port Vale - ahead of Sunday's White Ribbon Family Fun Day presented by Barnet Domestic Violence Forum in partnership with Barnet FC Community Trust and Barnet Safer Communities Partnership. Everyone who wears a ribbon pledges never to commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.

The fun day, which will take place on the Barnet Cricket Club ground, will feature a five-a-side football tournament, live music, a jazz singer, a cover band, face painting, an inflatable goal, portraits and helium balloon painting.

Note: Domestic violence is an incident of threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between individuals who are or who have been intimate partners or family members regardless of gender.
