Elliott Charles, whose one goal for Barnet was a late equaliser against Arsenal in the traditional pre-season friendly at Underhill in July, has gone on loan for a month to Blue Square South side Havant & Waterlooville.

This is a fifth loan spell for the 19-year-old former PROTEC striker since joining the Bees in August 2008 - he has previously been at Farnborough, Lewes, Hemel Hempstead Town and Ebbsfleet United this season. He returned early from Ebbsfleet after being sent off in his second game for the club.

Charles has made a total of 12 substitute appearances for the Bees - he was an unused sub against AFC Bournemouth last month.
