Shrewsbury Town plan to get the match referee in on Friday in order to carry out a pitch inspection on Saturday morning.

Officials of the two clubs have been in contact about the prospects for the League 2 game and the current situation is that there are two inches of snow on the pitch with parts of the goal areas a little frozen -- but freezing temperatures are forecast for Shrewsbury until the weekend.

Shrewsbury have been advised of the travel arrangements for the Barnet squad and that of the BFCSA coach.
