ALBERT ADOMAH BACK ON TOP FORM

Posted on: Tue 23 Feb 2010
Albert Adomah is back to his best match-winning form ... and Ian Hendon hit out today at newspaper speculation linking him with Championship clubs and suggesting that Barnet will let him go on loan.

"Leave him alone", was the manager's message. "He is doing well and is back in the form that put him in the spotlight and attracted top clubs last year and, if he carries on playing as he is now, he will find himself the right team for his talent.

"He is a matchwinner and we don't want him to go ... he certainly won't be going anywhere on loan. That is a ridiculous suggestion. Leave him alone and the offers will come.

"I am sick of people - most probably it is his advisers - rocking the boat and making my job hard creating speculation like this between transfer windows and making ridiculous and inaccurate statements about salaries. The offer Barnet made was the highest in the history of the club - well in excess of the figure stated in the newspaper story".
