Ben Wright, Peterborough United's 6ft 2ins tall striker, has joined Barnet on loan until April 20.
The paperwork to bring the 21-year-old to Underhill was completed this afternoon and Wright, who trained with the Bees today, was allocated the No 19 shirt.
Wright seemed set to sign for Premiership Fulham - he even underwent a medical - when Peterborough stepped in and signed him from Hampton & Richmond Borough for an undisclosed fee in 2008.
Injury at the start of his career at London Road held him back and, with Posh having two prolific strikers in Aaron McLean and Craig Mackail-Smith, he has been restricted to 17 appearances, several as a substitute, and scored twice. He has had loan spells at Kettering Town, Grimsby Town and Luton Town.
Peterborough describe him as "very much a technical striker with good ability on the ball".
Wright came to prominence as a marksman when he played for Hampton. His 13 goals attracted the interest of Fulham and several other League clubs.
Ian Hendon moved to bring in Wright when Paul Furlong was ruled out for a further fortnight this week by his eye injury.
